This November, immerse yourself in the magic of Havana with New Swing Sextet & MetaMovements! This past March, George & Orlando joined MetaMovements to experience the Annual Fiesta del Tambor (Festival of the Drum). A truly memorable occasion filled with collaboration between artists & festival-goers alike! From this event, a new opportunity was born...
Enjoying the collaboration so much, the director of the Festival of the Drum, Girardo Piloto has decided to sponsor a very special extension of the Festival of the Drum this November so that the entire New Swing Sextet band can play with Cuban artists in several concerts throughout what will surely be a journey to remember!
And the best part is ... YOU'RE INVITED & YES, YOU CAN STILL GO TO CUBA !! (Especially when you travel the right way, with a program that is not only LEGAL, but also has many amazing elements that will make this a fantastic program!)

This trip was an amazing experience in every way possible. You and your awesome team were on point from the very beginning all the way to the last minute of this trip! And what an honor to perform and spend time with La Colmenita kids, parents and staff. Simply amazing! I’m really hoping that we can do this again with all of the New Swing Sextet members in November! It’s going to be sabroso!!

Havana Extension
Nov 18 - 21
Stay in Havana to continue building relationships with the instructors and dance hosts you’ve gotten to know throughout the week! PLUS, due to the special timing of the Baile En Cuba Festival, some of Havana’s greatest bands will be available to see each night.
Havana & Santiago Extension
Nov 18 - 29 (Various options available)
If you have additional time & want to extend your dance immersion, consider adding on this extension. Spend a few extra days in Havana, take in more amazing shows at the Baile en Cuba festival, then travel to Santiago on the Eastern side of the island. Spend Thanksgiving exploring the Santiago Salsa Festival.
